Bürkle stainless steel bowls are rectangular, autoclavable lab bowls made from 1.4301 (AISI 304) stainless steel. They are used to clean, disinfect and sterilise instruments, and to hold, sort and carry samples, tools and small parts. The steel won't crack or warp like plastic, and the smooth surface is easy to clean. Bottom grooves create a drainage area, so items sit above pooled liquid instead of soaking in it.
The range covers 15 sizes in two forms. The shallow form (325 mL to 6,000 mL, 40–50 mm high) is for sorting and handling. 1.4301 (AISI 304) stainless steel resists corrosion in normal lab and food-processing use and holds up to repeated handling, washing and heat. You don't get the cracking, staining or warping that plastic trays develop over time.
Bürkle marks these bowls as autoclavable. You can sterilise the bowl together with its contents, or reuse it indefinitely between cycles, with no disposable liners to buy.
Grooves in the base raise instruments and parts slightly above residual liquid. Items drain and dry better after rinsing or disinfecting, and small parts are easier to pick up.
A formed grip edge gives you something secure to hold. This helps when you move a full bowl of liquid or hot instruments out of an autoclave.
The smooth stainless finish wipes and washes clean. It suits hygiene-sensitive work in labs, pharmaceutical settings and food production.

The low 40–50 mm sides keep everything visible and within reach. You can see and pick out instruments, sample containers or parts at a glance, which makes shallow bowls practical for bench organisation, instrument layout and transport between workstations. They hold only a thin layer of liquid, so they are not intended for soaking.
The taller 98–105 mm sides let you submerge instruments in cleaning or disinfecting solution. They also help contain liquid while you carry the bowl. Choose deep form when items need to soak, or when splashing is a concern.
