Burkle MicroSampler Tips – 0.2–1.0 mL
Burkle MicroSampler tips are interchangeable accessories designed for collecting very small, defined volumes of powder from different depths within bags and containers. Available in 0.2 mL, 0.5 mL and 1.0 mL capacities, these tips allow you to change the sample volume without replacing the complete sampling device.
Each tip is manufactured from 316L stainless steel and has a 12 mm outer diameter. The tips are designed for use with the compatible Burkle MicroSampler powder sampler for samples of 0.2–1.0 mL.
Important: Compatible MicroSampler Required
These tips are accessories and are not standalone samplers. A compatible 12 mm Burkle MicroSampler lance is required and sold separately. These tips are designed for the 0.2–1.0 mL MicroSampler range and are not compatible with the larger 25 mm MicroSampler model for 2–10 mL samples.

Applications
MicroSampler tips are intended for collecting small, defined quantities of powder from selected depths within bags or containers. They are particularly useful when sample quantities need to be limited and consistent for laboratory analysis, quality control or product development.
Typical application areas include:
- Pharmaceutical and active ingredient research
- Food testing, including sampling spices and powders
- Cosmetics and pigment testing
- Laboratory quality control and product development
Selecting the Correct Sampling Tip
- 0.2 mL: For procedures requiring the smallest sample volume in this range.
- 0.5 mL: For procedures requiring an intermediate sample volume.
- 1.0 mL: For procedures requiring the largest sample volume in this range.
Choose the volume appropriate for your sampling method and confirm compatibility with your MicroSampler lance before ordering.
Material and Cleaning
The tips are manufactured from stainless steel 1.4404 (AISI 316L). Their smooth internal surfaces help minimise retained powder and make cleaning easier. Select cleaning procedures appropriate to the sampled material and your laboratory's requirements.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the tip include the MicroSampler lance?
No. The tips are sold individually and require the compatible Burkle MicroSampler powder sampler for the 0.2–1.0 mL range.
What sampling volumes are available?
Choose from 0.2 mL, 0.5 mL or 1.0 mL. Each volume is available as a separate variant.
Are these tips compatible with the 2–10 mL MicroSampler?
No. These tips have a 12 mm outer diameter and are designed for the smaller 0.2–1.0 mL MicroSampler. The 2–10 mL range uses a separate model with a 25 mm diameter.
What material are the tips made from?
The manufacturer specifies stainless steel 1.4404 (AISI 316L).
