UltraSnap is intended for surface ATP testing. Use it for cleaned surfaces, food-contact areas, non-food-contact areas, equipment, tools, benches, drains, and other defined swab locations.
For water or liquid samples, use AquaSnap water ATP test devices instead. Choose Hygiena AquaSnap Total ATP Water Test Swabs for total ATP in water, or Hygiena AquaSnap Free ATP Water Test Swabs for dissolved free ATP.
Use UltraSnap for surface ATP testing. Do not use UltraSnap as a substitute for AquaSnap when your sample is water, CIP rinse water, process water, or another liquid sample.

Allow UltraSnap swabs to equilibrate to room temperature before testing. Swab the selected test area according to your facility procedure, activate the device using the Snap-Valve™ mechanism, mix according to the instructions, and read the result using a compatible Hygiena luminometer.
Store UltraSnap refrigerated at 2°C to 8°C for long-term storage. For short-term use, follow the product instructions and your internal storage procedure. Hygiena recommends a quick shipping method due to temperature sensitivity and refrigeration after receipt for long-term storage.
