Nutrient Agar is a solid medium used for the non-selective growth of a wide variety of non-fastidious organisms. Pancreatic Digest of Gelatin and Beef Extract provide amino acids, peptides, carbohydrates, vitamins, and electrolytes for bacterial growth. Agar is the gelifying agent. There is a choice of 3 sizes - 500g, 2kg, and 10kg.

PREPARATION: Mix 23 grams of the medium in one liter of purified water until evenly dispersed. Heat with repeated stirring and boil for one minute to dissolve completely. Distribute and autoclave at 121° C for 15 minutes. Through gentle agitation to avoid bubbles thoroughly mix medium prior to pouring plates.
