Description
Lee's Multi-Dimensional Agar
Lee's Multi-Differential Agar is a specialized product used to identify and count different types of bacteria and yeast found in the brewing industry. It comes in three sizes - 500g, 2kg, and 10kg - making it suitable for a variety of laboratory needs. This product is an essential tool for scientists studying the microorganisms present in the beer industry.
PREPARATION: Mix 84.8 grams of the medium in 1 liter of purified water until evenly dispersed. Heat with repeated stirring until boiling to fully dissolve. Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes. Cool medium to approx. 45-50°C in a water bath. Gently and thoroughly swirl the medium, without agitation, in order to uniformly suspend the calcium carbonate precipitate. Dispense the medium into sterile Petri dishes.
