Labplas Sampling Bag Workstation – Hands-Free Bag Holder
The Labplas Sampling Bag Workstation holds a sampling or blender bag open and upright on the bench, so both your hands are free to weigh, add diluent or pipette. It's made of clear polycarbonate, so you can see the bag's contents at all times. Labplas designed it for sterile bags used in 400-series homogenizers (paddle blenders).
The workstation is compact (133 × 127 mm) and sold individually. It's used in food and beverage microbiology, contract testing labs and research laboratories. The Labplas workstation is available in Canada from Cambridge Environmental Products with CAD pricing and Canadian purchasing support.
Ideal For
- Food microbiology labs: holding blender bags open while weighing samples and adding diluent
- Labs using 400-series paddle blenders and matching sterile bags
- Pipetting aliquots from open bags after homogenizing
- Research laboratories, universities and colleges
Why Choose the Labplas Workstation?
Hands-free bag handling
The workstation keeps the bag open and vertical, so you don't need a second person or a free hand to hold it. That makes it easier to weigh samples directly into the bag, add diluent and pipette, and reduces the chance of spills or touching the inside of the bag.
Clear polycarbonate
The transparent body lets you see the sample and fill level while you work. Polycarbonate is sturdy and flexible, and Labplas rates it from −100 °C to 135 °C.
Compact footprint
At 133 × 127 mm (5.3 × 5 in), it takes up little bench space and fits on a balance or next to a blender.
Common Applications
| Application | How the Workstation Helps |

| Weighing samples into bags | Holds the bag open on the bench or balance so you can add the sample with one hand. |
| Adding diluent | Keeps the bag upright and open while you dispense. |
| Pipetting after homogenizing | Holds the bag steady for aliquot sampling. |
