Labplas cylindrical closure clips seal sampling and blender bags that don't have a built-in wire closure. Fold the top of the bag over the clip, close it, and the bag is sealed for transport, storage or incubation. It reopens just as easily when you need to take an aliquot. The clips are made of PVC and can be reused.
The clips come in two lengths, 7 in (178 mm) and 15 in (381 mm), in packs of 10. They're used in food and beverage microbiology, field sampling, environmental labs and research laboratories. The clip clamps the folded top of the bag shut, helping to prevent leaks and protecting the sample during transport and incubation. There's no heat sealer or tape needed.
The clips go on and come off by hand, so you can reopen a bag to take an aliquot and close it again.
The 7 in clip suits narrower bags and the 15 in clip suits wide bags. Choose a clip at least as long as the width of the bag top you need to seal.
