Allow AquaSnap devices to equilibrate to room temperature before use. Dip the collection tip into the water sample, activate the device, mix according to the instructions, and read the result using a compatible Hygiena luminometer.
If your program uses both AquaSnap Free and AquaSnap Total, use consistent sampling locations, timing, and procedures so the Free and Total results can be compared meaningfully.
For programs using both AquaSnap Total and AquaSnap Free, Hygiena recommends testing separate aliquots of the same water sample when possible. If separate aliquots are not available and both devices must be dipped into the same sample container, use AquaSnap Free before AquaSnap Total.
AquaSnap Free provides rapid ATP water monitoring data. It does not replace required microbiological testing, regulatory testing, pathogen testing, or facility-specific verification methods where those are required by your SOP, customer requirements, or audit program.
