Glass Brix Hydrometer - 0-12° BRIX

Glass Brix Hydrometer. Used to measure the percent of sugar (Degrees BRIX) in a solution. Useful in food, beverage, beer/wine production. Individually serialized and provided with a calibration report traceable to NIST standards

Plain form - a separate thermometer should be used to measure the temperature of the sample and correct for any temperature variations. Temperature correction factor on the thermometer scale. Each Scale Division = % of sucrose by weight. 1° Brix = 1 Gram of sucrose in 100g of solution.
