Egg-Shaped Stir Bar - PTFE Coated

Egg-Shaped (elliptical) stir bar made feature an ALNICO V magnet core encapsulated in a low friction PTFE coating. Durable and inert, these stir bars are autoclavable. Egg-shaped magnetic stirring bars are the most commonly used shape for designed especially for use in round-bottom vessels as they spin unrestricted by the vessel contour.

ALNICO V magnetic cores which are one of the most powerful permanent magnet alloys available. Stirring bars should not be stored in a random mass, or dropped on a hard surface especially steel. Stirring bars should be stored in pairs to maintain magnetic strength.
