HyperStretch™ Sealing Film & Steri-Sheets™
HyperStretch™ is a flexible, colorless paraffin-based laboratory sealing film that molds tightly to nearly any surface. It forms secure, liquid-tight seals on a wide range of lab vessels including test tubes, centrifuge tubes, petri dishes, flasks, bottles, and beakers—making it an essential tool for everyday laboratory workflows.
Manufactured from a proprietary paraffin and polyolefin formulation, HyperStretch™ is latex-free and provides a strong yet flexible moisture barrier. The film protects sensitive samples while allowing controlled exchange of H₂O vapor, O₂, and CO₂, enabling safe off-gassing without compromising seal integrity.
Highly stretchable and self-adhering, HyperStretch™ conforms easily to glass, plastic, and metal surfaces, sticking to itself or most materials without additional adhesives. It performs reliably across a broad temperature range, including low-temperature applications down to –80°C and select liquid nitrogen (LN₂) environments, and can also be used as an overwrap for lids, caps, and stoppers to create an exceptionally airtight and liquid-tight seal.
