The CA15103 membrane disc is a 47 mm, 0.45 µm hydrophilic mixed cellulose ester (MCE) filter designed for routine laboratory filtration and microbiological analysis. The membrane’s composition of cellulose acetate and cellulose nitrate provides a uniform surface structure, supporting consistent particle retention and efficient organism recovery.
Its hydrophilic nature allows rapid wetting and smooth fluid passage, making it suitable for aqueous filtration processes. The 0.45 µm pore size conforms to standard requirements for microbiological testing of potable water, wastewater, and environmental samples.
This membrane offers comparable performance to legacy OEM specifications in terms of flow rate, surface integrity, and recovery efficiency. It is non-sterile and intended for general laboratory use where sterilization can be performed as part of the workflow.
