A&D GX-203A - 220g x 0.001g Precision Top Loading Balance with Internal Calibration

A&D GX-203A bundles precision, protection and good data management into one balance. Ideal when weighing sensitive materials in high-risk environments or weighing with automated devices.

Enabled by the Smart Super Hybrid Sensor (SHS) technology for superior accuracy. Features Impact Shock Detection, Flow Rate Display and Electronically Controlled Load (ECL). This unique combination of features enhances precision, reducing the amount of rework required and lowering costs.

Built in die-cast aluminum with a stainless steel weighing pan. Easy calibration with one touch button - GX-203A performs and documents internal calibration and features Automatic Self-Calibration (ASC) – the balance auto calibrates based on temperature and time interval. GLP/GMP/GCP compliant with full calibration reports. Password-Protect offers password-protection up to 11 users and 1 administrator.

Features:

  •  Large, front-mounted spirit level with LED illumination, easy-to-adjust leveling feet with thumbwheels. Clearly visible, reverse backlit LCD display

  •  User access control (UAC) function that password-protects the balance at two  levels.  Key lock function to make the balance operable only by sending commands from an external device

  • Data memory function: save weighing results, calibration results and unit masses for the counting mode in the device itself. Tare memory function that saves the tare value in non-volatile memory

  •  Alert function to ensure that the measured quantity is not smaller than the set minimum weight.

  • Universal Flexi Coms (UFC) function to edit serial data output/printout format

  •  Clock and calendar function, Auto power ON and OFF functions.

  • Underhook for weighing a magnetic material and/or measuring density

Impact Shock Detection
  • Impact-Alert – displays the magnitude of impact shocks to the weight sensor at four levels, with audible notification for higher levels of impact which should be avoided

  • Shock-log that records time, date, shock level and operator ID, making quality control easier to pinpoint.
  • Real-time feedback mechanism prevents equipment damage, and allows managers to modify in-line or manual processes alike. An important feature when transverse and vertical environment forces are unpredictable.

Electronically Controlled Load
  • Allows the user to perform a diagnostic check and repeatability test without the need of an external test weight

  • At the touch of a button and in under two minutes, users gain a daily precision verification test with Dia-Check.

  • Determine a standard deviation and calculate the minimum sample weight with Quick-MinS, and ensure operations are USP41 compliant with Min-S-Alert.

  • Ensures critical measurements are compliant with industry standards such as USP 41 and 1251.

Flow Rate Display
  • Avoid irregularity that can arise in traditional filling and dosing applications, the Apollo series features an FRD function.

  • The FR-Calc feature calculates and displays the mass or volume flow rates to close the “time-clock disparity” found with traditional PC methods.

  • FR-comparator, which allows monitoring of flow rate data to ensure it is kept within designated limits

  • Tare value can be saved in non-volatile memory so that the remaining amount of the material in the container can be displayed again, even if power is disrupted during loss-in-weighing measurement.
