The PCE-IR 100 is a dual-mode thermometer designed for temperature control and verification in Canadian food labs and production environments. It measures surface temperature using a non-contact infrared sensor and internal temperature using a fold-out stainless-steel probe — ideal for HACCP checks, cold-chain monitoring, and process QC.
Built for speed, hygiene, and ease of use, it delivers quick readings with under-half-second response time. LED indicators display safe, caution, and critical temperature zones for instant food-safety feedback. The IP65-rated housing supports regular cleaning, and adjustable emissivity (default 0.95 for food) ensures accuracy across product types and packaging surfaces.
Typical applications include incoming-goods inspection, cooking and hot-holding verification, production-line QC, and laboratory temperature testing. The compact form makes it suitable for both on-site and lab environments, with minimal training required.
