Please read the following carefully, this policy contains important information including limitations of liability. Agreement
In these Terms & Conditions “CEPI”, “We” or “Us” means Cambridge Environmental Products Inc, and “You”, “Your”, “Customer”, “Purchaser” or “Buyer” means the person who accepts these Terms & Conditions; Product Return, Order Change/Cancel, Damage, Warranty Policies by using this website and including the purchase of products through the website
Product Return Policy
- All returns must be authorized by Cambridge Environmental Products Inc in order to insure proper credit/refund, and must be requested within 3 days from delivery date for all laboratory supplies, and 30 days from the invoice date for all laboratory instruments.
- To ensure proper credit/refund, each product return must have RMA # issued by CEPI. Please contact us at sales@ceproducts.ca or 1-800-535-3751 to initiate the return process. Please see below for full return procedure instructions.
- Restocking Fee of 20% will be applicable to products which are not regular inventory by CEPI and are not able to be returned to the manufacturer such as:
- Chemicals, Culture Media, Reagents products
- Electronic components and equipment parts
- Products purchased on a non-stock and/or Special-Order basis
- For returns not due to Cambridge Environmental Products Inc. error, the customer is responsible for all transportation fees related to the returned product (including brokerage and custom fees where applicable).
- Returns must be shipped and packaged in manner to deter damage during transport. If damage occurs due to poor packaging, credit/refund will be voided.
- Returns must be trackable/traceable via courier or registered mail, and tracking # is to be forwarded to CEPI. Returns must be in transit within 10 business days from RMA issuance.
- Products not authorized for return include:
- Products not in completely resalable condition (including products with damaged, missing or defaced labeling or packaging)
- Chemicals, Culture Media, Reagents products Electronic components and equipment parts
- Balances/Scales boxes that have been opened
- Laboratory instruments, apparatuses, laboratory supplies (including glass and plastic ware) that have been used, modified or altered in any manner
- Products which are not regular inventory by CEPI and are not able to be returned to the manufacturer such as products purchased on a non-stock and/or Special Order basis, or products not purchased from CEPI
Return Procedure
Ensure you have either the Invoice or Packing Slip or the Order Confirmation
- Email sales@ceproducts.ca a copy of one of the documents listed above or the following information:
- Company Name and/or Customer Name
- Address
- Telephone #
- Invoice # and/or Sales Order
- # Product # and quantity that you would like to return, and serial # (if applicable) which can be found on the Invoice, Packing Slip, or on the outside of product box
- Reason for Return
You will be contacted within 72 hours between Monday to Friday during regular business hours via email or by telephone after receipt of your return request.
Order Cancellation / Order Change
Orders are filled and shipped as soon as possible, usually within 1 business day for in stock products. Once the order is shipped (in transit) it cannot be canceled or changed. Order Cancellation and/or Order Change can be done prior to shipping, please contact us to arrange cancellation or changes.

Item(s) Damaged in Transit
In the unlikely event that you receive a product that has been damaged in transit, please contact CEPI immediately. All damaged in transit claims must be made within 3 days of receipt of goods.
If the fault is reported within the first 3 days from delivery, you will be supplied with either a replacement product, or refund for the value of the product and applicable taxes (freight/shipping charges are non-refundable).
If the order was shipped on your personal or company courier account, please contact your courier to register a claim.
Warranty
CEPI will work with you in the event of an equipment or instrument malfunction, where it may be covered under warranty. Warranty will not apply in respect of a product:
- If the product has not been installed, operated, maintained or used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions or specifications.
- If the factory-applied serial number has been altered or removed from the product
- Has suffered damage, malfunction or failure resulting from alterations, any alteration (hardware or software), accident, misuse, abuse, fire, liquid spillage, miss-adjustment of customer controls, use on an incorrect voltage, power surges and dips, thunderstorm activity, force majeure, voltage supply problems, tampering or unauthorized repairs by any persons, use of defective or incompatible accessories, the operation of a computer virus of any kind, exposure to abnormally corrosive conditions or entry by an insect, vermin, or foreign object in the product
- To damage arising during transportation, installation or while moving the product To any third-party software or hardware not contained in the product as originally configured by the manufacturer
- To any failure, to the extent that the failure is not a failure of the product to perform in accordance with it specifications
- To replacement or repair of any consumables (including batteries, lamps, and cables) or lost parts or accessories
- To service and support of any software operating system or application installed on any product, except to assist in restoring the product to its factory default setting
Warranty & Repair Issues - A&D Products: CEPI Authorized Canadian Distributor
CEPI will arrange for repair or replacement of your unit if it is under warranty and was sold by CEPI. If the manufacturer determines that the issue is not covered by warranty example:
- unit was dropped, water damage, damage due to electrical power surge, or other external cause
- damage caused by use with another product or by operating the product outside manufacturers intended parameters
- misuse or abuse, if serial # has been removed or defaced)

- Telephone #, Email Model of unit and serial #
- Description of what the issue is (what is it doing or not doing)
All Other Manufacturers for Laboratory Instruments Sold by CEPI
CEPI will arrange for repair or replacement of your unit if it is under warranty and was sold by CEPI. If the manufacturer determines that the issue is not covered by warranty example:

Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from cambridgeenviro.com (the “Site”).
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device.
Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site.

DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We may void orders placed by individuals under the age of 18.

These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website and the ordering, purchase, fulfillment and delivery of products from www.cambridgeenviro.com. Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully before placing your Order.
These Terms & Conditions contain important information and the ordering, processing, fulfillment and delivery of goods, including limitations of liability.
Agreement
In these Terms & Conditions “CEPI”, “We” or “Us” means Cambridge Environmental Products Inc, and “You”, “Your”, “Customer”, “Purchaser” or “Buyer” means the person who accepts these Terms & Conditions; Product Return, Order Change/Cancel, Damage, Warranty Policies , by using this website and including the purchase of products through the website By browsing the website, or placing an Order. You agree to these Terms & Conditions as set out below.
Legal Capacity
If you are under the age of eighteen (18) years you cannot place Orders with CEPI. By accepting this Agreement, you acknowledge that you are over the age of eighteen (18) years.
Website Use
CEPI Website may contain links to other web sites. Those links are provided for convenience only and may not remain current or be maintained. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices associated with linked websites.
You must take your own precautions to ensure that your process for accessing the CEPI website does not expose you to risk of viruses, malicious computer code or other forms of interference which may damage your computer system. CEPI take no responsibility for any such damage which may arise in connection with your use of the website.
Liability
CEPI will not be liable for any loss of income, loss of profits, loss of contracts, lost of data or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind howsoever arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise; and our maximum aggregate liability for any product supplied to you whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise shall in no circumstances exceed the amount payable by you to CEPI in respect of the product(s) in question.
Orders
Orders may be placed by following the instructions on the website. By placing an Order, you enter into an agreement to purchase the Product(s) under CEPI Terms & Conditions. Primary communication with customers is via e-mail. It is the Customers’ responsibility to ensure the correct contact details are entered and that the provided email address is regularly checked for correspondence. CEPI does not accept any responsibility for Orders that are declined, delayed or not accepted due to the disruptions with internet connections. Where you have provided an incorrect or incomplete delivery address for your order. You may incur additional freight charges for each subsequent delivery attempt
Product Specifications
While we make every attempt to ensure accurate product specifications and images. Product specifications are subject to change without notice. Images may differ in colour from actual products, but functionality of the product remains the same.
Product Use Limitation
All products that are listed on our site or that are sold by Cambridge Environmental Products Inc. are not designed for, nor intended for, use in patient-connected applications including, but not limited to, medical and dental use. These products are suggested for Laboratory, Industrial and Education use only.
Backorders
CEPI requires upfront payment before placing orders with our suppliers or shipping products. If items on your order are backordered, CEPI will ship out your entire order when the backordered item arrives. If you request partial order fulfillment, additional freight costs will be applicable.
Order Cancellation/Order Change

All prices are in Canadian dollars and are F.O.B. Komoka Ontario. All prices are subject to change without notice.
Despite our best efforts, on occasion it may be possible that a small number of the products listed may be incorrectly priced on the website. If we have made a mistake and a product’s correct price is higher than the price on the website, we may either contact you before shipping to request whether you want to buy the product at the correct price or cancel your Order.
Terms of Payment
Visa, MasterCard, PayPal are accepted. All orders must be paid in full before shipping. Exceptions are only for customers who have an existing business account set up with credit terms.
- 30 Day Credit Accounts: If you wish to establish 30-day credit, please complete and submit via Email or Fax the Credit Application form.
- 30 Day Credit Account Existing Customers: Current terms will continue, unless otherwise notified.
If you do not provide the requested information within up to 7 days, your order will be canceled and your payment will be refunded back to the method in which you paid.
Taxes
Canadian Customers: HST or GST will be applied, if applicable, and based on the provincial tax rates where products are delivered to. Quebec Sales Tax is charged to customers located in Quebec. Please contact us if you have a TVQ number.
US Customers: Tax laws vary by state and local requirements. Cambridge Environmental is registered to collect taxes in some states. If you are not charged sales taxes at time of purchase you may be required to pay use taxes depending on your state and location.
- Sales taxes are charged in the following states: Idaho, Georgia, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Washington.
- If you are located in a state where sales taxes are collected and are exempt, an exemption/resale certificate must be completed for our records. You may be required to remit use tax on your purchases to your state department of revenue.
- When you buy something over the internet or other remote means, and the seller does not collect sales tax, it does not mean the purchase is tax-free. Please consult your state department of revenue or a tax professional to determine what taxes you may owe.
Shipping
Shipments are sent FOB Komoka Ontario unless other arrangement are established. All orders are shipped via courier using the most affordable method to your destination. Couriers used:
- Within Canada :
- UPS, FedEx, CanPar, Couriers Plus, CanadaPost,
- ATS, Dicom upon request
- To the USA:
- UPS, FedEx, Canada Post
All shipments are insured for the value of the shipment. CEPI will ship products to PO Box addresses via Canada Post, and are insured for the value of the shipment.
Where a customer gives written authority for products to be delivered without a signature, any and all included insurance cover will be voided.
Freight charges are determined by the end packaged weight and dimensions, destination location, and requested level of service (example: ground or expedited). Product weight 0 to 1 lb will be recorded at a minimum of 1 lb for freight weight.
Some items may require Special Handling and will incur additional freight charges due to size or weight which will be an additional charge and may not be included in initial order submission.
Cambridge Environmental Products Inc. will not be liable for any claim, loss, or damage caused in whole or in part due to delay in or failure to make delivery when the delay is directly or indirectly caused by act of God, strike or other labour difficulty, transportation problems, inability or delay in act of any civil or military authority, act of war, or act of purchaser, or by the occurrence of any other contingency beyond our reasonable control. In such an event, the day of delivery or time for completion shall be postponed by such length of time as may be reasonably necessary.
